I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field in a variety of settings. My passion is working with young adults and adults dealing with life's transitions and challenges that pose barriers to their personal, professional, and relational goals, while being mindful of the impact that culture, trauma, and other external factors play in these challenges. I specialize in anxiety, major life transitions, stress management, and mood disorders. I completed my Master of Science in Professional Counseling at Georgia State University.
I have supported adults in various stages of life in breaking cycles that have kept them from moving forward and discovering new ways of thinking and being that align with their values, goals, and dreams. To do this, I utilize approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing.
We all have periods in our lives where we feel stuck. I will work with you to identify the thoughts, behaviors, and emotions that have you stuck and help you find new ways of engaging with your world so that you can move toward a healthier, more fulfilled life.
