Welcome, My name is Karen Christopher and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Texas and working with clients statewide via Telehealth. With many life demands and expectations, one can feel overwhelmed and lonely. Many people struggle regularly with anxiety, sadness, stress, low esteem or worth, life changes, and or relationship issues which can cause a feeling of imbalance in life. I assist individuals and couples with navigating these challenging moments.
I work with adults who may find it difficult to deal with life transitions by using a warm and safe environment to assist you in identifying your strengths, goals, and abilities to cope with and overcome your challenges. I specialize in clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and intimate partner relationship issues to name a few.
I became a therapist because I found it to be very meaningful work. It brings joy to my life to know that I can assist others reach their goals and potential in life. I've always been able to connect with people, offer a listening ear, and offer advice when needed.
