Kids and teens need to feel connected and capable after traumatic events. I support young survivors of sexual abuse and assault and other forms of violence. When everything feels hollow, I help clients reconnect, slowly and gently, with their undeniable vibrancy. When panic and rage are on unwelcome standby, I help clients find their quiet, courageous center. Through a therapy process that involves both kids and the grownups who love them, clients begin to make sense of what they've been through and who they are on the other side. I offer evidence-based therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT). I work with adopted kids and those with separation from their families of origin, neurodivergent kids, and kids of all gender and sexual identities, as well as kids with dissociative and somatic symptoms.
