My name is Karen, and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the State of Florida. I have over 28 years of experience in Europe working with children, youth, families, and other vulnerable populations in crisis. I founded Hopespace Counseling Services passionate about using my counseling experience to help individuals, couples, and families struggling with various addictions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, or other life stressors. My practice is solely a video conferencing practice which gives you the freedom to reach out from the comfort of your home, office, dorm, or wherever best suits you.

I strive to fully understand everyone’s unique challenges and help them find a path towards healing, hope, and a renewed perspective using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EDMR).
