I have always had a passion for walking alongside individuals struggling with life's transitional difficulties. I enjoy working with adult women and men looking to confront their obstacles in order to experience a life of confidence, peace, and contentment. My expressed interests are helping those dealing with anxiety, depression, and grief. I also work with couples in the areas of pre-marital, distressed marital, and divorce adjustment counseling. Additionally I provide counseling for primary caregivers and the life transitional stage issues. Therapy is a never-ending gift!
I have received additional therapy training in the following areas: Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM); Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR Level 2); and Prepare and Enrich Couples Counseling. I attend counseling educational seminars throughout the year to remain current on new developments in psychotherapy research/ treatment.
Membership with the ACA, TLPCA, and NBCC. . I have lead women's process & psycho-educational groups. Topics include boundaries, healing shame, improved interpersonal relationship, and caregiving.
