Remember when you were young and couldn't wait to grow up and make your own decisions? It turns out that's a lot more complicated than we realized, isn't it? We can so easily feel bogged down in complicated, even overwhelming emotions. I specialize in helping you to understand "whys" behind these emotional reactions and the "hows" to promote lasting change. I offer therapeutic sevices to young and older adults both in person and through telehealth. As a therapist, I am committed to providing an accepting, non-judgmental space to better understand yourself and find new ways of moving forward.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, complex trauma and adjustment issues (graduation, relational problems, etc.) I also work with people with the diagnosis of bipolar or personality disorder. I can help improve coping strategies to enhance self-concept and improve relationships.
I use a variety of methods to help you move from distress to calm, including talk therapy and mindfulness/relaxation techniques. I also utilize Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) which is an exciting treatment modality able to address many issues in a playful, non-intrusive way. Please reach out and let me know how I can help.
