I specialize in trauma-informed treatment & psycho-analytical therapy with adults in transition/change, mental health disturbance & past or current trauma. My practice includes counseling young & older adults, couples with marriage stress, anger management, substance abuse & recovery, women and men leaving domestic violence situations, LGBTQ, and those living with personal challenges where they find themselves ‘stuck’ in ideas and behaviors that no longer work for them. Approaches include Analytical Psychology, Narrative and CBT, MI, Feminist Therapy, Multi-Culturalism, Trauma-Informed Treatment & somatic healing.
Success with clients lies in efforts to create empathy, trust & the comfort levels needed for individual clients to engage fully. Acceptance of their feelings & experiences, along with my transparency, creates & awakens resiliency, where we explore & eliminate a sense of being stuck in problem saturated pasts while restoring coping skills & self esteem.
