About
Do you need a safe and secure space to work through life transitions, anxiety or stress that is overwhelming? Taking the step to connect to a counselor is a big one, so let's explore your strengths that propel you forward! I also have extensive expertise in treating substance use disorders and became deep rooted in the parent/child relationship and the attachment that develops from infant through 6 years old. I am especially non-judgmental and supportive of caregivers who struggle with addiction that want to deepen the bond with their child. I utilize solution-focused and interpersonal approaches rooted in CBT.
I am a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator. I offer a caregivers Circle of Security parenting program that lasts 8 weeks. Explore how to develop a secure attachment with your child. Parents reflect on their own upbringing which is helpful in developing a parenting style unique to them.
Parents are the home base to their child who will ultimately go out to explore the world and if they have a non-ruptured bond they will return to you feeling safe and secure. You'll learn about filling your child’s emotional cup, how to be attuned to your baby and how to instill a sense of stability that occurs in your secure child!
