Some specific populations I have experience and comfort working with are adolescents, folks who are LGBTQIA+, folks of differing ability levels, elders, and folks with DID. My personal and professional philosophies are intersectional and Trauma-Informed.
I am a peer with mental health diagnoses, physical disability, and I'm in recovery from substance use. I use my own lived experiences to support others during their healing journeys. Some of the therapeutic modalities that have been most useful to me both in my own treatment and in my treatment with others are CBT, DBT, and Narrative-inspired work.
