Kara has been a licensed mental health counselor since 2018. She works with both teenagers and adults, providing a safe and supportive space where clients can explore challenges and discover new paths forward. Kara works with clients from all walks of life. She also treasures her roles as a wife, mother of two, and her Christian faith, which help shape the care and compassion she brings to her work.
Kara is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM), specialized therapies designed to help clients heal from trauma. In addition, she draws from a variety of proven methods to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and disordered eating.
