I am an aasect Certified Sex Therapist. I work with individuals (adults ages 18+), couples, and polyamorous groups who are having issues surrounding sex, sexuality, and/or gender identity or clients who need a gender/sexuality-affirming therapist who can help with other issues, such as mood disorders, anxiety, and/or trauma. I work with people of all genders and sexual orientations. Issues, needs, and goals are highly individualized - I work with my clients to find the right path for them.

After working as a family health nurse for 10 years, I switched careers to social work. Due to my background, and certifications, I have experience in helping people navigate the emotional complexities of health diagnoses as well as issues surrounding sex and sexuality. Please note: I refuse to use any type of AI in my practice.

I firmly believe that the client knows themselves better than I do. I am here to guide clients through difficult times using not only my education and skills, but also using warmth, empathy, and mutual respect. A typical treatment plan involves setting goals for treatment, discussing how we will meet those goals, and establishing milestones for knowing which goals have been achieved. I typically assign homework. I strongly encourage weekly appointments whenever possible. Length of treatment varies based on the needs of the client.
