Hi! I'm Kara with Wise Roots Therapy. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in EMDR, perinatal mental health, complex trauma, and mood concerns. I blend EMDR, parts work (IFS), somatic tools, and attachment-based approaches. I often ask, 'Where do you feel that in your body?' because our bodies carry so much of what we've been through. I find joy in supporting new moms who want to deepen self-understanding, create more space for themselves, re-parent themselves with compassion, & heal from trauma.
While my weekly openings are limited, I am currently accepting new EMDR intensive clients.
