I specialize in treating adult anxiety, supporting with major life transitions (including divorce/separation, career changes, and geographical moves), parenting and co-parenting, and postpartum anxiety/depression. I’m also a certified couples therapist. I draw heavily on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy to support my clients. I have broad professional experience, including Behavioral Health Lead at Santa Cruz Community Health Centers, extensive work in community mental health, clinical supervision, and program lead at Kaiser Permanente.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT for Valued Living group therapy works to increase psychological flexibility by combining mindfulness, acceptance strategies, and values-driven behavioral changes. The goal is to support participants in living meaningful lives by clarifying personal values and committing to actions aligned with them, despite experiencing difficult thoughts or emotions. This group includes many experiential exercises including mindfulness and visualization exercises.
