Seeking help for mental health is a brave, positive, and huge step to take, as it can be associated with stigma. I'm here to recognize your strength in taking this step for yourself and ensure that it is meaningful to you. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, chronic illnesses/health-related stress, and caregiver burnout. I provide individual therapy with a warm, client-centered approach as well as cultural sensitivity, as each client is different with their background, history, and issues.

Using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions with a strength-based approach, I help you recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. This process helps you identify and challenge negative thought patterns and build adequate coping and adjustment. I also use Person-Centered Therapy.

It is important to me to ensure that I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for you to feel comfortable sharing your feelings and experiences honestly. My style of open communication involves active listening, empathy, acceptance, and understanding. I practice this style to build a trusting relationship with you.
