Starting counseling with a new therapist can be intimidating so I want to take the time to tell you about myself and my approach to counseling. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I take a collaborative role to counseling and individualize treatment to fit your unique needs. I understand your mental health journey is unique to you and treatment should be tailored to meet those unique needs. I specialize in childhood trauma, emotional dysregulation, personality disorders, marital issues, couples counseling, and pre-marital counseling.
Our first session will start with gathering background information and evaluating your overall wellness. I believe there are various factors capable of influencing our emotions and behaviors, including environmental, lifestyle, spiritual, economical, etc. By looking at things holistically, I believe we will be able to reach long term resolutions.
I am available for an introductory phone consultation - at no charge - to respond to any specific questions you may have. I offer flexible appointment times including evening and weekend availability to accommodate busy schedules. I look forward to working with you.
