I aim to understand your unique life circumstances and the strengths and vulnerabilities you bring. I offer an anti-oppressive, relational, and systemic lens in therapy which fosters collaboration and learning. I wish to co-create a safe and welcoming space with clients to embark on a therapeutic journey at their own pace, experiencing warmth and openness.
My focus is working with adults of all genders and sexual identities. I hold expertise in helping individuals navigate relationship challenges, abuse, understanding grief and loss, and addressing various immigrant experiences within the therapeutic relationship. I center values of commitment, compassion, and advocacy in life and work.
Bilingual in Hindi, I moved to Chicago in 2008 to pursue a Master’s degree. I continue to learn and grow from the unique experience of being a minority in the US, while holding privileged South Asian identities. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my kids and exploring the outdoors when Chicago weather allows for it!
