If you are looking for an easy-going, validating space to process what you're going through, I am here to help. Some weeks may look like processing the latest episode of your favorite show, and others could be processing work conflict or getting to the root cause of anxiety or depression to help you understand and work through issues by empowering you to advocate for your needs and wants, and lean in and enjoy life. You are worth the time it takes to understand your own story. I have experience working with clients from many different backgrounds and look forward to helping you on your path to wellness.
I want to make the process of therapy as welcoming as possible. I approach therapy from an emotion-focused, person centered point of view. I utilize DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, and many other modalities to help you along your healing journey in a comfortable environment. I am also not afraid to challenge where necessary to facilitate your growth.
I seek to provide a supportive environment to work through issues. I enjoy working with the queer and neurodivergent communities. I am also able to provide evaluation/documentation in support of gender-affirming surgeries. I am also a COVID-conscious practitioner, but due to my location I am unable to offer in-person appointments.
