Hello! My name is Kamryn VanWanzeele (van-won-zul) and I am a Therapist and IOP Coordinator at The NewDay Center in Indy. I am a Mental Health & Addictions Counselor with a specialization in Christian Integration. Some areas I specialize in are Anxiety, Adjustment Issues, Phase of Life Issues, Social Anxiety, Identity Issues, Trauma (physical, verbal, sexual, emotional, religious, etc), Addictions (alcohol, substances, pornography, etc). I work with my clients by utilizing ACT, MI, and CBT approaches. I specialize in trauma and am currently being trained and using EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) Therapy in my practice. Furthermore, if you are looking for a Christian view on psychological issues I also specialize in Christian Counseling.
Seeing loved ones, friends, and my community go through life changes, struggles, and traumatic experiences has created a strong desire in my heart to walk alongside those who feel alone, lost, and confused in their struggles.
