My name is Dr. Kamran Zafar and I am the founder and CEO of La Jolla Healing Center. I have been in recovery for more than 30 years and know how lonely it can get. Addiction can hit a person when they least expect it: when they're trying to manage an increase in their workload, fulfill obligations with family, or for no reason whatsoever. It often begins innocently — sometimes to relieve the stress of everyday life, or even just to experience the thrill of something new. Before the person knows it, they’re using alcohol or substances to cope with the negative feelings and stress in their daily lives.
What differentiates us from other programs is our experience working with those from corporate environments. Accommodating professionally established individuals who require total confidentiality and can not go to residential treatment centers for alcohol or substance use is my specialty.
I understand it can be inconvenient for some clients to leave work and attend long hours of treatment, so I'm available to accommodate you virtually or work with you directly at your location. This is a progressive disease that will not get better without professional help. My team and I are here for you. You CAN get through this.

Groups
Group Therapy
We have groups for adult and adolescent /teen that meets either from 10 am to 1pm or 6 pm to 9 pm. We are licensed by the state of California for substance abuse and alcohol. We also have individual sessions for eating disorders and other addictive behavior.
