As a therapist I work with an individuals unique life experiences to help heal and grow. My experiences as a mental health professional are diverse. Working with individuals that have survived complex trauma to the day to day life stressors that are hard to adjust to. Many have thoughts or feelings that there is "no way out" or "I can't do this anymore". I try to help honor, understanding, and releasing our uncomfortable or confusing cognitions, emotions and behavioral patterns through compassionate, supportive and directness. I've been blessed to be trained and work with some amazing people in a range of techniques.
My specialties include trauma, life transitions, interpersonal relationship discord, and self-confidence. I treat a wide variety of mental health struggles including: depression, anxiety, relationship discord, dissociative identify disorder, PTSD, domestic violence, sexual trauma, childhood abuse, midlife struggles, career stressors, bipolar, and others.
It takes strength and self-awareness to seek support. One of the most effective tools for success within any therapeutic relationship is cultivating a strong rapport between us. By meeting the client where they are and allowing them to drive the process, an environment of self-determination is created. Through this the client is able to heal and grow.
