Finding a therapist can be hard, especially when you feel like no one really "gets" you. I'm hoping that's where I come in- I am a queer, autistic therapist passionate about working with other LGBTQIA+ and/or neurodivergent people that may struggle to find the right therapist for them, or who have felt unheard or invalidated by other mental health professionals. As a mother, I’ve found great joy working with parents, young families, and peri/postpartum changes. Currently, I am offering services to individuals age 12 and older, as well as families, couples, and diverse relationships.
I have experience treating anxiety, depression, OCD and trauma. I incorporate holistic care in my treatment, including eating and sleeping habits, intentional movement, human connection, and social resources. I believe in a well-rounded view of wellness that looks different for every person, while keeping personal strengths in mind.
When you meet with me, you can plan on being met with kindness, warmth, and no judgments. In my free time, I love to spend time outdoors, either in my garden or exploring parks around Kansas City, or indoors with a good book and a little treat.
