I help clients develop self-compassion and empower them to create meaningful lives informed by their values. I earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and have worked in psychiatric and community mental health settings. I also have years of experience working with teens, adults, and families in eating disorder treatment. I have an eclectic approach and use a variety of evidence based-practices depending on your specific needs.
Context is key to understanding struggle and I work with individuals to explore how their histories have shaped their current reality. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is vital to therapeutic success. This means I use empathy, humor, and a direct communication style to create a warm and supportive space.
