Starting therapy can be an anxiety producing process in itself, but I am a very compassionate, nonjudgemental, and creative clinician so will do my best to ensure it is as comfortable as possible.
I use a combination of motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, and dialectical behavior therapy. I incorporate meditation practices into our session and enjoy helping clients find other relaxation skills they can use outside of session. As a certified animal assisted therapist, my therapy dog can also be utilized in session
