I work with children, young adults, and parents trying to navigate life’s ups and downs, process trauma, or learn new life skills. I am motivated to help cultivate a safe place and help clients see their worth, learn new skills to help them navigate through life’s ups and downs. Some areas of focus I work with are anxiety, ADHD, adult children of emotionally immature parents, people with the highly sensitive personality trait, adjustment, grief, behavior challenges, emotion regulation difficulties, family changes, parenting, and self esteem difficulties.
I offer play therapy, brainspotting and traditional talk therapies, while providing psychoeducation and skill building resources. With children and adolescents I typically use sand tray, play and art therapy along with skill building interventions to help them express and process in both verbal and non verbal ways.
I know how scary it can be to begin the therapy process. My goal is to come along side my clients and walk with them through life’s challenges and struggles while helping them learn new skills so they can accomplish their goals and be the best version of themselves.
