I'm a Therapist, Mom, Author, and Mental Health Media Contributor who is highly specialized in treating Anxiety Disorders and Women's Issues. My practice, Bay Area Modern Therapy, specializes in working with mothers, parents, and teens who want to get back into the driver’s seat of their life and find more freedom and joy through healing, growth and change work. In our work we use the lens of (modern) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

I use evidence-based therapies and a warm, relational approach to help people live better and feel better. While my work is grounded in years of learning and theory, it’s driven by my own experience as a real-life human who is navigating many of the same things my clients are like parenting, stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and the weight of motherhood.

I get that that we all struggle from time to time, and that in different seasons of life we all need some support to get back on track, or find our way forward.
