Hello! I am so glad you're here and I want to congratulate you on your first step to healing! My name is Kaitlin McGrath and I am a Limited License Master Social Worker (LLMSW). I graduated from the University of Michigan (GO BLUE). My passion is to help children and adolescents through some of their toughest times. This can range from depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, bullying, parental divorce and beyond. I know therapy can be very difficult so I am here to make the transition as easy as possible.
I utilize a variety of treatment approaches based on my client's needs such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Expressive Therapy, and Play Therapy. Treatment typically involves coping skills, emotional regulation, Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, discovering your triggers, warning signs and so much more!
Therapy is more than just talking. I like to make it as interactive as possible and suitable for everyone's comfort level. As a member of the Great Lakes Psychology Group network, I have a team standing by Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm Eastern available to help schedule an appointment and answer billing and insurance questions.
