I’m Kait, a queer-identified, systems-focused therapist who works with other humans navigating their experiences of the world within the many contexts in which make up their reality. My perspective of mental health and wellbeing considers not only the immediate circumstances such as how your functioning in this moment; but the effects of historical trauma, systems, institutions and lived experiences that shape our relationships with ourselves and others.
I work with a variety of difficulties such as complex trauma, abuse, PTSD, identity and life transitions, grief and loss, and chronic illness. I pull on my experiences working within systems such as child protection system, criminal justice system, legal defense, immigration, and medical trauma recovery to better understand your symptoms origins.
