For over 20 years I have been involved in the mental health system and have had the privilege of helping individuals & families achieve their goals and overcome a variety of challenges (i.e. depression, anxiety, mood disorders, new transitions, relational, & substance abuse struggles). While speaking both English & Spanish languages, my hope is that each individual that I encounter will gain a better understanding of themselves, and also learn valuable skills to move forward towards a more fulfilling and flourishing life---to be able to find 'Peace of Mind'--within themselves and within their surroundings.

Partners in Change provides individual, couples, family, and group therapies to all ages. This team of therapists provide state-of-the-art treatment for a variety of concerns including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, anger management issues, substance abuse, trauma/PTSD, eating disorders, pain services, perinatal/postnatal concerns, as well as marital and familial difficulties, and challenges experienced by emergency responders and public safety officers. Psychological assessments and psychiatric care for a variety of purposes are also available.

My personal theoretical foundation is not limited to one approach. I believe it is necessary for counselors to be adaptive. Every client is different and our responses and approaches should be equally diverse. One person may need a cognitive behavioral approach whereas another would be more responsive to brief counseling. This eclectic approach will be applied to all clients. Techniques will vary between clients to best meet the individual client's needs.

I often build trust and rapport quickly, while instilling hope and optimism. Therapy is performed both in person and tele therapeutically, helping to ameliorate symptoms and improve overall functioning in those that I serve. In addition to individual therapy, I really enjoy and have found success in performing couples counseling/family therapy and often have evening hours that make it easier for both partners/children to get into therapy consistently. For years, clients have felt relaxed and heard in the sessions, making continuing therapy seamless for many. Scheduling is easy, at your leisure, via a portal when you are ready.
