Life can seem overwhelming at times which may lead to feelings of loneliness, pain, and fear. I work with clients and help them to be mindful in the present moment, utilize healthy coping skills during times of distress, regulate emotions, and teach individuals how to build and maintain healthy relationships with themselves and others.
I have a dual licensure in mental and chemical health and work with adults and adolescents. I have experience applying Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in group and individual settings working with clients who struggle with addiction, mood disorders, and personality disorders. I’ve facilitated an intensive outpatient program at a treatment facility.
I make sure to maintain a safe and supportive environment and am adept at working with people who come from a variety of backgrounds. I assist clients with identifying their strengths, successes, and accomplishments during the therapeutic process. I am passionate about working with clients and how to help them work towards their long-term goals.
