As a practicing relationship & sex therapist, I specialize in working with those seeking gender-affirming care, navigating out of control sexual behaviors, or generally wanting to engage more with their sexuality, as well as folks in partnership desiring a change in the way they relate to intimacy & communication.
Based on collaborative treatment planning, I use a combination of approaches in individual work such as Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic experiencing, sex therapy, & psychodynamic theory. My work with partners & relationships often takes shape around the Gottman Method, though this process is also collaborative & emergent.
My style is grounded, warm, accepting, & deeply collaborative. I am guided by theories & values of reciprocity, kinship, community, storytelling, creative expression, & collective liberation. I believe individual dignity, worth, & wellness are our human birthrights, & that we all deserve to have support in living the lives we envision for ourselves.
