I continue to be amazed by the power of relationships to heal the deepest, most persistent sources of pain. I am committed to helping people make contact with the parts of themselves that are whole and healthy, those that remain intact despite the traumas and difficulties they have endured. I do this by paying close attention to the feelings and thoughts that emerge in the present, while also listening for outdated, limiting or wounded parts of the self. Leading with my belief in the potential to heal, we work collaboratively to harness innate resources for growth, resilience, and change.
I work with individuals across the lifespan and have significant experience working with children and families. I have advanced training in relational, emotion-focused, skills-based and trauma-informed therapies for adults. My active approach aims to get you in touch with a deeper, more nuanced understanding of the feelings that allow for behavior change.
I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stresses and life transitions. I also specialize in adoption, parenting and maternal mental health. Together we create an approach that fits your needs and uses your resources. It is my honor to work with people of all races, ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations.
