Life is a tough journey, and no one is meant to go through it alone, though it can often feel very lonely. My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe, welcoming, non-judgmental space for you to process your experiences, heal your wounds, explore yourself, and continue to grow on your journey. Counseling allows you to process life events, feelings, and more which often leads to better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and relief from distress. Seeking help is a brave decision to make and I’m glad you’re here! I believe everybody is unique and so it is important to find what works the best for you.
In sessions I strive to utilize a person centered, trauma informed, eclectic approach for each client and often focus on empowering you to explore and build upon your strengths. My training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) allows me to offer it as a modality for clients to work through traumatic experiences and complex trauma.
My passions extend particularly towards working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, the neurodivergent community, and women’s issues. Outside of counseling, I am a Charlotte native who mostly grew up just north of Charlotte near Huntersville. Fun Fact: my dog, Cassie, is in training to be a therapy dog so she can learn how to help others too!
