Hi! I’m Kaelee Salmans, an independently licensed mental health practitioner specializing in complex trauma, major mental illness, and personality disorders. I create a grounded space for those who have felt misunderstood by traditional systems.
With a background in community mental health and secure units, I offer a deep perspective on systemic and personal trauma. I’m not afraid of the "heavy stuff" and provide the stability you need to feel safe, seen, and ready to move forward.
In my practice, I integrate DBT for mood stabilization and regulation and EMDR for long-term trauma processing. By blending these with Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and other evidenced-based modalities, I offer a structured yet compassionate path tailored to your unique history.
I work with adults providing individual therapy who are in the midst of navigating severe mental illness, trauma, or are system involved. I am currently accepting clients, both in-person and via telehealth. I am also a registered service provider and accept probation vouchers.
