I have worked with adults and families in various counseling settings. My focus has been working with clients who have found themselves coping with acute stress, family conflicts, parenting, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, CPTSD, or maladaptive behaviors. I also have extensive experience working with clients who have experienced trauma, loss and grief, family separation, terminal medical diagnoses, and dealing with dual diagnoses and adjustment/life changes.
I go beyond symptom management. I draw from evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy. I guide my clients to train their minds and their bodies, empowering them to evolve and combat their stressors in productive ways.
