Hurts happen & we find ways to survive, but you are meant to experience so much more than survival. You're meant to thrive. Healing happens in relationship. Relationship with yourself and relationships with others. As an attachment-focused & body-based therapist, I work with clients to help them feel safe & trust their bodies, embrace connection, & develop self-compassion. Change happens by empowering you to identify needs, find security in relationships with good communication, and cultivate ownership of your experience. Your mind, body, and spirit want to be well. Allow me to walk with you through the darkness to get there.
Treating trauma, disordered eating, attachment, LGBTQ+ issues, family therapy, adoption/RAD, and shame is what I have passion for and do best. I utilize techniques such as EMDR; Brainspotting; ego state/parts work; yoga; mindfulness; intuitive eating; Attachment, Regulation, & Competency (ARC); & art interventions to holistically untangle you from trauma.
You are not your symptoms or trauma. You are a person who deserves kindness, respect, and care. I utilize evidence-based methods that are approachable for all bodies, ages, education levels, & experiences. I want to empower and encourage you by teaching you how be with your experience, flow with life's challenges, and grow to who you are meant to be.
