My name is Kaci Schmitt, and I am a strengths-based counselor in Portland, Oregon, working with older children, adolescents, and adults. My approach to therapy is guided by my belief that through our work together, we can create a safe space where you can find peace, develop your own intuition and wisdom to make your own choices about what's right for your life, and create new meaning, particularly after trauma or when experiencing ongoing struggles.

I believe that you are your greatest source of wisdom and that in our work together, we can uncover what is keeping you stuck and find the resources you need to move forward. I use a strengths-based approach guided by authenticity and unconditional positive regard for all clients I work with.

I would be happy to talk with you further to see if we would be a good fit. Email is the quickest way to reach me (although it is not a secure/confidential platform to share details -- however, we can set up a time to talk over the phone or in person): kacischmittcounseling@gmail.com
