In her work with each client, Kaci emphasizes building a therapeutic relationship characterized by collaboration and trust. She views her role as walking alongside clients as they explore their feelings, develop adaptive behaviors and cognitions, recognize their strengths, and establish goals to resolve problems. She utilizes cognitive behavioral theory and therapeutic activities to assist clients in realizing effective ways of coping with life. Her passion lies in working with adolescents and young adults who are navigating challenges of anxiety, depression, self-doubt, life transitions and stressors, and relationships.
Kaci is an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Lauren Smith, LPC-S, and a National Certified Counselor. She is working towards attaining her hours for full licensure in Texas. Kaci earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling from SMU, and her clinical experiences include working with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with various concerns.
