My name is Kacey Chase, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Fresno, CA. I feel my role as a therapist is to empower clients to be able to face the trials that come their way, both by helping them process trauma, as well as arm them with tools to go forward. I have special experience in working with adolescents, crisis management, and maternal mental health. I like to tailor therapy to each client; I most commonly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Strengths-Based Therapy. I have experience using Cinematic Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Narrative Therapy with a variety of clients.
I am comfortable working with clients of all ages, however, I typically work with adolescents, as well as perinatal clients. Postpartum and Antepartum depression/anxiety/trauma are areas which I have concentrated on, including other general anxiety and depression. Life changes, adjustment disorders, and grief are other conditions I treat.
I like to set a relaxed and warm tone with all my clients. Sessions are a safe space, and I encourage my clients to embrace that with me. I would describe my communication style as easygoing, open, empathic, and accepting. I am able to listen without judging, and my clients are able to feel that sincerity.
