I work with families, couples, and individuals, including adults, adolescents and children. Treatment modalities include: ( TFCBT), Solution Focused therapy, Family Systems therapy, play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CPT, creative and expressive therapies. I approach clients with a strength based focus, believing that clients move at their own pace and have a right to self determination. Therapy starts "where the client is" and goals reflect their needs and input.. I am dedicated to working with at risk children of all ages and their families. Families may be experiencing instability due to divorce, death of a family member, foster care or adoption. Similarly, older adults experience many changes in their lives that include loss, death of a spouse, health concerns and mental health issues.
I approach each individual, family or couple with care and concern, with a desire to help them identify their strengths and build on those strengths within a supportive, nonjudgmental, empathic environment.
