I specialize in working with anxious, quirky, kids and teens whose self-esteem has taken a blow in a world with a deficit in kindness. I also see many children and teens who are angry, don't like folllwing rules, are mad at the world or just feel plain lost. Many young adults, feeling adrift, seek me out to help them find their footing. My practice is focused on older children, tweens, teens, and young adults. However, I also see many individuals of various ages, who come to therapy looking for assistance in understanding themselves, their emotions, life experiences, relationships, and how they might move into new ways of relating.
I work especially with those struggling with anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, high functioning ASD, relationship difficulties, parenting concerns, family dynamics. I also specialize in working with boys and men who find themselves stuck or addicted to pornography, video games, screens etc.
All individuals and families struggle at various times along life’s path. Effective therapy begins with building a trusting relationship-one of mutual respect.
