21st-century life is wild. Just existing in our complex, relentlessly changing world can be an overwhelming, isolating challenge. I work with adults navigating relationship challenges, trauma, depression, shame, grief, and the often complicated existential concerns of identity, meaning, and loss. Therapy research overwhelming suggests the relationship with your therapist (AKA "therapeutic alliance") is one of the most consistently supported predictors of therapy outcome. My style in therapy is warm, compassionate, and real (tattoos, some cursing, love for pets, humor when appropriate). I show up as my full self and you can too.

I’m interested in understanding how your struggles developed and how they impact your life. My approach is relational and trauma-informed/focused. In session we’ll talk about your experiences, relationships, inner world, and concerns with respectful curiosity and care. We’ll explore how your brain learned to protect you and how it affects your life today.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel like a stuffy doctors visit or like you’re talking to a chatbot.
