I am J. Dumas. I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and an LPCC. I’m from New Orleans, La and have traveled all over the world learning about different cultures and practices. I believe therapy is about “treating people on an energetic level”. I want you to feel as though you can heal from the inside and extend that out to others. My greatest strength as a therapist is that I meet individuals where they are, and I am willing to take on the most challenging individuals. There is no issue too great to solve, and we will do it together.
I offer trauma-informed care for POC mental health, addressing diverse needs for well-being and personal development. I specialize in psychological assessments and diagnoses. My services prioritize confidentiality, empathy, and evidence-based care, helping you understand your mental health and providing tools to cope with challenges.
My purpose is to help clients achieve success in their lives by being straightforward, empathic, and a teacher. After experiencing Hurricane Katrina, I became what I needed the most.
