I believe that lasting healing comes not from simply changing behaviors, but from understanding the experiences, emotions, and protective patterns that gave rise to them. My work is rooted in the belief that symptoms are meaningful adaptations rather than problems to eliminate. Therapy becomes a space where clients can develop curiosity and compassion toward themselves while creating new ways of relating to their emotions, relationships, and bodies. I believe that healing occurs not through shame or force, but through safety, connection, and the opportunity to experience oneself and connection to others differently.

My approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), emotion-focused therapy, somatic interventions, attachment theory, and systems thinking. I help clients identify and understand patterns that protect against pain, while gently processing underlying trauma and unmet emotional needs, and develop new patterns that foster a strong sense of self.

Across both outpatient and intensive outpatient settings, I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of each person's story. I also offer supervision and consultation for therapists and social workers looking to deepen this skill set and feel more confident in their clinical practice.

Recovery Community Group is a free, monthly support space for individuals in eating disorder recovery seeking connection and encouragement. Open to all stages of recovery, this group offers a safe, welcoming environment to share experiences, celebrate progress, and navigate challenges with others who understand. We maintain a recovery-supportive space by avoiding numbers (weight, calories) and detailed behavior descriptions. Facilitated by trained professionals, the group focuses on peer support and community, not clinical treatment. This group meets on the first Tuesday of each month and is offered in a hybrid format, with both in-person and virtual options available.

Intensive Outpatient Program for Disordered Eating

Authenticity Recovery's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides compassionate, comprehensive treatment for adults recovering from disordered eating who need more support than weekly therapy while continuing to live at home, attend school, or work. Recovery includes nutritional healing, nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and rebuilding body trust. Treatment integrates a systemic lens to explore the underlying experiences that contribute to eating disorder symptoms. Clients develop greater self-understanding, process emotions with safety and compassion, communicate more effectively, and build authentic connection with themselves and others. Through a supportive group environment, participants address the roots of disordered eating while creating a foundation for lasting recovery.
