Hola, my name is Justine Marroquin, and I am an LPCC in Colorado. I earned my MA degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Transpersonal Art Therapy from Naropa University in Boulder, CO, my BA degree from Cal Poly Humboldt in Arcata, CA, and my AA degree in Psychology from Los Angeles Valley College in Valley Glen, CA. My education and prior experiences have allowed me to work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families both in English and Spanish. My experience working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues.
I use an integrative approach and believe in the power of art and self-expression. I draw from Person-Centered, Multi-Cultural, and Transpersonal theories using Art Therapy and consider myself eclectic in approaches. I pride myself on providing a compassionate and supportive space that encourages open dialogue and collaboration.
I believe in collaborating with clients to aid with awareness, growth, and change. I believe in giving clients space and support to find their strengths, gain skills, work through difficulties, and overcome struggles.
