Therapy is a time to appreciate and develop patterns that are healthy and fulfilling, instead of just focusing on what's going wrong. I work towards establishing a trusting relationship where together we can collaboratively create goals that address your needs. I work both with individuals and families to address symptoms in a way that sustains long term change. I always integrate tailored treatment to your child, you or your family so that you do not experience a “cookie cutter” approach.
Throughout my career I've worked with those who’ve experienced multiple traumas and losses to be able to redefine their experiences and themselves to move forward rather than be tied to their pasts. I am trained in two trauma focused evidence approaches, trauma focused cognitive behavioral treatment and parent child psychotherapy.
I also employ interventions utilizing a variety of theories to include cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, and Gottman relational approaches. Thank you for your trust.
