I have over 20 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families achieve their therapy goals. My personal therapeutic philosophy is that emotional healing takes place when you address the well-being of the whole person - Mind, Body, and Soul. There is nothing better than seeing an individual caught in the grip of anxiety and depression, find lasting relief; or a couple on the brink of divorce transform into a healthy, loving relationship; or someone finding peace and healing from lifelong childhood-trauma.
I treat individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma using a variety of therapeutic tools including Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness, and EMDR. EMDR is a game changer in trauma treatment, and treating PTSD is one of my specialties! I also love working with couples!! With couples and families, I focus heavily on communication skills.
