From a young age, personal experiences have called me to help people. I've always been passionate about seeing individuals overcome challenges and reach a point where they can say, "I feel better." In my family, I've witnessed the effects of bipolar disorder and major depression, and how they can impact a person and their entire support network. These experiences inspired me to pursue a career in mental health. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for OCD. Our deep understanding of its nuances enables us to properly diagnose and treat it.
We have also received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD. When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues, depending on your preferences. We’ll get to know you and create a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.
Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing initially, that's okay.
