Although I work with a diverse population, I primarily support couples and individuals with ADHD and autism diagnoses in collaboratively building systems of connection and communication that work with their unique experiences. My clientele generally describe themselves as “high achieving” and frequently cite tech and games as personally or professionally relevant to their lives. I work to identify and leverage my clients’ values as a compass when addressing client concerns. As a LMFT, I can be particularly helpful for clients who want to navigate cultural and family expectations, religious trauma, and sexual identity.
I approach therapy from a Narrative Therapy perspective, while integrating other modalities like Solution-Focused and Emotionally Focused Therapy. When working with couples I believe it is important to find what a healthy relationship is for you both no matter what the outcome is of the relationship.
I strive to be authentic and relatable to my clients. In therapy, I work with my clients to identify and utilize their passions to foster growth. Change is something that is difficult and therapy can be a challenging process and vulnerable at times.
