I’m Justin Makin and am a licensed Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I specialize in treating adult men (18+). I understand that addiction, difficult childhoods, unstable relationships and a myriad of life challenges can hold you back from living a more meaningful life. I work from the inside out helping you understand many aspects of your truest self. I help you understand, process and unearth trauma that may have acted as a barrier to healing. I do my best to make counseling feel as comfortable as going to a ball game.
Having navigated life's rough trails myself, I empathize with the impact that a tumultuous upbringing, shaky relationships and life's hard knocks can have on a man’s confidence and mental health. I draw on a career of owning drug treatment centers, working in the oil fields and now back to my life’s passion, counseling men.
