At times, when we feel distant from our self and others, naturally, we experience varying levels of fear, anxiety, sadness, and/or anger; this is the body’s way of letting us know that something isn’t quite right. Instead of pushing away from those signals I encourage my clients to welcome and befriend the challenging emotions. In this way, we can begin to feel more fully connected to all parts of ourselves and others.
I take a client-centered and relational approach to therapy. I offer a variety of tools/strategies for emotional regulation, co-regulation, communication styles/patterns, and relationship challenges. Together, we will collaborate and discover which tools/strategies that most align with you. I also incorporate a nature-based approach, if that interests you.
I’m committed to creating a safe and supportive space where you can freely get curious about your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
